According to tradition, its establishment was inspired by a divine revelation bestowed by Konpira Daigongen:<\/span><br \/>\n<span style=\"color: #333333;\">\u201cThose who raise chopsticks (that is, all people of the nation), I vow to save them.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">The daily morning and evening Goma fire rituals, continuously performed for over 1,200 years since the temple\u2019s founding, remain a central practice of devotion.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Six structures, including the Main Hall, are designated as Important Cultural Properties of Japan, and four additional buildings, including the Ni\u014d Gate, are registered as Tangible Cultural Properties.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">Hashikura-ji is also known for a wide range of rituals, events, and amulets associated with chopsticks, such as Chopstick Memorial Services, First Chopsticks Blessings, and the bestowal of the sacred Nini-funi chopsticks.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"color: #333333;\">In addition, the temple offers the amulet \u201cHibiki (Sound,Resonance)\u201d, associated with Kong\u014d Song Bodhisattva.<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"color:
